A national MEP Consultancy is looking for an experienced Electrical Building Services Engineer to lead projects in Leeds. The role requires strong design capabilities in cable sizing and lighting calculations, as well as project management skills to navigate commercial challenges. Our client is a national MEP Consultancy who have been providing technical design and supervisory services to end users and developers for close to 25 years. The business is well known particularly across the residential and distribution sectors, with regional offices situated in both Leeds and Belfast.

Alongside traditional mechanical and electrical building services design, they offer their customer base a range of supervisory duties as the eyes and ears of the scheme once projects hit site, from monitoring contractors through to witnessing, commissioning and snagging.

With new projects due to commence in the early part of 2026, the business is looking to attract an experienced Electrical Building Services Engineer who can help lead projects and provide a confident client facing service. The appointed Electrical Engineer could be from an M&E Consultancy background and seasoned in the design of cable sizing and lighting calcs etc, or potentially from an M&E Contactor with a strong design awareness to check drawings, whilst offering strong project management skills and navigating the commercial challenges once installation commences.
