Job summary

A leading construction and engineering company seeks a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to represent the Energy Team and manage Tender submissions. Applicants should hold a degree in a relevant field and be chartered or aiming for chartership. Responsibilities include producing design outputs, completing documentation, and ensuring quality delivery. Experience with client specifications and hazardous areas is essential. This role is vital in supporting infrastructure projects across the UK.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in Electrical & Electronics, Electrical Power Engineering, Instrumentation or Control Engineering.
  • Chartered Engineer with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (or similar) or working towards chartership.
  • Experience of interfacing with Clients such as National Gas Transmission and Cadent.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the Energy Team at meetings.
  • Review Scopes of Works and manage Tender submissions.
  • Produce output for internal and external design.
  • Complete design documentation including calculation and drawings.
  • Deliver Electrical design deliverables at differing engineering stages.
  • Ensure successful delivery of quality Electrical Design Package.
