Overview

This well established Sheffield based building services design consultancy is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, or Associate Engineer, to help Directors focus on business development while you'll have a high degree of autonomy when managing schemes.

They are busy with a range of clients and different size schemes across healthcare, commercial, industrial and leisure schemes with the majority of projects being in the local area. As a practice, they're recognised as being a pillar of technical strength and have a high degree of stability; as a recruiter, I've been supporting them for over 25 years now and know that they have a low staff turnover.

As an experienced Electrical Design Engineer who is focused on building services design, you'll be knowledgeable about CIBSE and HTM design standards, comfortable using Revit, Amtech and other industry standard software packages.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical design schemes with a high degree of autonomy and support Directors in business development.
• Deliver building services design across healthcare, commercial, industrial and leisure projects, predominantly in the local area.
• Apply CIBSE and HTM design standards and use industry software such as Revit and Amtech.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Experience as a Senior Electrical Design Engineer or Associate Engineer with a focus on building services design.
• Knowledge of CIBSE and HTM design standards.
• Proficiency with Revit, Amtech and other industry-standard software.
• Based in Sheffield with hybrid working; able to live within a reasonable commuting distance.

Salary and Benefits

The salary on offer reflects your level of experience; as a Senior Engineer the salary range rises to £54,000, as a Principal reaches £63,000 and as an Associate peaks at £75,000. There is also the opportunity to gain equity in the business over time.
