Job Description

I am recruiting Senior Economic Regulation Manager for a major infrastructure business in London. You will:

  • Support the Head of Regulation in defining and implementing regulatory strategy for the operational phase of the project;
  • Inform and shape business structures, performance and behaviours to support regulatory compliance and value;
  • Help position the business to secure appropriate future price control determinations;
  • Lead business responses to regulatory requirements including license compliance, reporting, and regulatory treatment of cost and schedule performance;
  • Provide economic and regulatory advice to the business supported by quantitative and qualitative analysis as appropriate;
The Successful Applicant

You will have:

  • Substantial experience of UK economic regulation, including recent experience of successfully managing significant workstreams within price control determinations.
  • Experience of regulatory reporting and compliance;
  • Experience of building and managing successful relationships with key external stakeholders;
  • Experience of engaging Boards and senior leaders on complex topics;
  • Ability to conduct business/financial analysis of complex strategic issues and future scenario planning;
  • Experience in one or more of the following would be an advantage regulatory strategy; commercial strategy; financial control; treasury; financial modelling.
