Job summary

A leading engineering firm in the UK is seeking experienced EC&I Engineers to ensure compliance and reliability of plant equipment across various industrial settings. The ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Control Engineering, with 5-10 years of relevant experience in high-hazard environments. You will lead EC&I projects, manage contractors, and develop maintenance strategies while ensuring compliance with COMAH regulations. Open to candidates willing to relocate within the UK.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of EC&I engineering experience within a high-hazard chemical, petrochemical, or similar industrial environment.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status preferred or working towards it.
• Proven track record in executing and commissioning EC&I projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the site’s SME for Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation matters.
• Lead or support EC&I projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Provide technical guidance to maintenance teams on preventive and corrective maintenance.
