Qualifications

  • Experience as a Senior Domiciliary Care Assistant preferred.
  • Knowledge of Care Quality Commission standards is required.

Senior Domiciliary Care Assistant

Location: Richmond Villages Aston, Richmond Drive, Off Maple Drive, DE72 2EA

Salary: £13.40ph & Paid Breaks

Contract: Permanent - No Travel

Shift Patterns available: 27hrs on Days & 15hrs on Nights

As a Senior Domiciliary Care Assistant at a Richmond Village, you will work alongside Head of Domiciliary Care in supporting with administrative and hands‑on care duties.

  • Team Player: Collaboration with the Head of Domiciliary Care and other team members is crucial.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and thoroughly.
  • Communication Skills: Effective and polite communication with residents’ families, friends and other healthcare professionals.
  • Confidentiality: Handling sensitive information with discretion.
  • CQC Regulations: Knowledge of Care Quality Commission standards is required.
  • IT Literacy: Comfort with using technology and software.
  • DBS check: Because we care for vulnerable people, we require completion of a DBS check as part of the recruitment process. Bupa will cover the cost (£40).
