Position: Senior Digital E-commerce Insights Manager

Role Type:*This is a sole contributor role with no direct reports

Work Location: UK Remote or Poole Office (Hybrid)

Type: Full time, Permanent

What you will be doing:

Are you ready to shape the future of online commerce through data-driven strategy?

We’re looking for a commercially astute insights leader to join our team asSenior Digital E-commerce Insights Manager. In this high-impact role, you’ll be the analytical co-pilot to the Head of Online—delivering a unified commercial view across Amazon, Zalando, and DTC channels. You’ll transform complex data sets into clear, actionable insights that drive weekly trading decisions and long-term growth.

You’ll fuse internal P&L, media performance, and external consumer/sell-out data to guide our omnichannel portfolio strategy. From optimising SKU and price-pack mix to informing launch and retire decisions, you’ll play a critical role in maximising total revenue and margin across channels—without cannibalisation.

This role also serves as the analytical hub for the entire Online team, supporting cross-functional initiatives and enabling smarter, faster decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Unified Data & KPI governance

  • Building and owning a consolidated data layer and KPI dictionary spanning across channels (AMZ, Zalando, DTC) covering data including paid media, retail data, finance and market-shares
  • Set data quality SLAs, taxonomies and naming conventions; partner with IT/BI and DTC Trading Manager on pipelines
  • Enable channel teams to self-serve deep dives while protecting “one version of the truth.”

Insight Generation & Commercial Storytelling

  • Delivery of weekly Online Trade Insights packs: outlining drivers, risks, opportunities and clear strategies to action
  • Diagnose mix/price effects, promo efficiency, media-commerce interactions, cannibalisation across channels.

Forecasting and Scenario Modelling

  • Support ongoing top-down and bottom-up forecasting by channel and key account, focusing on volume, revenue, and margin performance.
  • Develop dynamic what-if models to forecast performance across major commercial events (e.g., Prime Day, BFCM, product drops), accounting for inventory constraints and shifts in media spend.

Strategic Partnering & Decision Support:

  • Collaborate with the Head of Online to shape channel strategy and develop business cases for expansion into new markets and platforms.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking using external data sources to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.

Experimentation & Incrementality

  • Design and interpret experiments in collaboration with Paid Media and Trading teams, testing promo mechanics, PDP enhancements, and media mix strategies.
  • Lead development of marketing mix models (MMM), geo-tests, and holdout experiments to measure incrementality and share actionable insights across the Online organization.
  • Demonstrate curiosity and initiative in exploring AI as a tool for experimentation and performance amplification.

Skills needed to be successful in this role:

  • 6-9 Years eCommerce/online analytics, commercial finance, or performance marketing analytics (marketplace + DTC exposure).
  • Advanced BI skills and GA4/Shopify Plus analytics.
  • Hands-on with Amazon Vendor/Retail Analytics, Zalando Partner Data Hub, media platform APIs; comfortable joining disparate data sets.
  • Strong financial/commercial literacy: P&L drivers, margin math, TACOS/ROAS, elasticity.
  • Proven ability to turn analysis into crisp narratives and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Authorized to work in the UK on a full-time basis
  • Fluent in English
  • Excitement about joining a midsize yet growing company with fast-growing brands!

What do we offer?

  • Competitive compensation package depending on experience and skills
  • Flexible work policy with regards to working hours and work from home
  • Increased flexi-days package after 1 year of service
  • Perkbox
  • Modern office with collaborative workspaces
  • Employee assistance counselling line
  • Employee discounts on all our EMEA products
  • Lunch and Learns
  • Company closure between Christmas and New Year’s
  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan
  • The chance to work in an international, diverse, and inclusive environment!
