Qualifications

About the role

Join our DevOps team in Brighton where you'll build and manage GitHub pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and cloud-native Azure solutions. You'll work closely with teams across the business to drive DevOps best practices, optimize deployments, and ensure systems run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of GitHub build, release, and deployment pipelines, ensuring our software moves smoothly from development to production.
  • Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions using Bicep, turning complex cloud setups into streamlined, repeatable processes.
  • Support and drive cloud-native Azure adoption by designing, deploying, and optimizing both new and existing products, helping teams make the most of the cloud.
  • Lead the development and promotion of DevOps best practices across the business, collaborating closely with teams to ensure consistent and efficient workflows.
  • Identify, document, and implement improvements to existing DevOps pipelines and processes, making our systems faster, smarter, and more reliable.
  • Mentor and guide other engineers, sharing knowledge and providing support to help them grow in their careers.
  • Monitor service health with detailed metrics, log analytics, and intelligent alerting strategies, keeping systems robust and reliable.
  • Manage and report on the status of business-critical systems and project progress, providing clear insights to stakeholders.
  • Implement zero trust security solutions using AAD and B2C, helping safeguard our systems and data.
What Are We Looking For?
  • Previous experience in a DevOps based role, managing CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-code and cloud solutions.
  • Knowledge of .NET, PowerShell and container architectures (Docker/Kubernetes) and Linux systems.
  • Understanding of Azure cloud services and application solutions.
