Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to support the implementation, optimisation, and management of our cloud infrastructure and data pipelines. This role requires strong expertise in AWS services and DevOps best practices, with a focus on automation, security, scalability, and reliability. You will be responsible for building and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform water, deploying containerised applications using Kubernetes and Docker, and ensuring seamless integration of data ingestion processes. As a key member of our existing DevOps team, you will collaborate with development, data, and operations teams on the Clover project, contributing to the delivery of platform services while driving continuous improvement in our CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities
  • Strong experience and demonstrated competency with AWS services, including networking, compute, storage, and security; ideally holding an associate-level certification such as Solutions Architect or SysOps Administrator.
  • Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, configuration management with Ansible, and container orchestration via Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker.
  • Experience writing AWS Lambda functions in Python or Node.js, familiarity with ElasticMapReduce (EMR) and/or Spark for data processing would be a bonus.
  • Contribute to the delivery of data ingestion pipelines and platform services supporting the Clover project, including monitoring, evaluating, and maintaining cloud resources.
