Overview

Shape the future of Water Infrastructure with Stantec. We are seeking experienced Senior Design Managers to join our expanding teams, working on major infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects across the South of England. This is your chance to lead and influence project delivery with a focus on water sector outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop project teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Work on water projects that have a significant impact on communities and the water sector.
• Partner with major water clients across the UK & Ireland, helping shape the direction of projects and the industry.
• Identify innovative and sustainable solutions, plan technical delivery, and lead the multidisciplinary team throughout the project lifecycle in asset planning/strategy, concept, outline, and detailed design.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to deliver best value and client service excellence, supported by Stantec's expertise.

Qualifications and experience

We are looking for someone with a passion for solving engineering problems, the ability to lead and inspire, and the confidence to drive through challenging solutions. You will be a degree-qualified engineer (or equivalent) and ideally chartered, or a member of a relevant engineering institution (e.g., ICE). Support can be provided to achieve this if required. You should have experience of leading multidisciplinary teams within the engineering or utilities sectors, delivering expert design solutions to clientele. We have opportunities for differing levels of seniority and will support your leadership development.
