Senior Design Engineers - 3D Printers

Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a cross-disciplinary team to design and develop next-generation products from concept to launch
  • Contribute to the technical roadmap by identifying new technologies and market trends
  • Create detailed CAD models and mechanical, electrical and engineering drawings using Fusion 360
  • Drive continuous improvement across products and manufacturing processes
  • Develop mechanical components, electronic assemblies, and systems, with a strong focus on functionality, manufacturability, and reliability
  • Perform engineering calculations for stress, thermal, and tolerance analysis
  • Collaborate closely with applications, materials, procurement, and production teams
  • Support prototyping, testing, and validation of new designs
  • Troubleshoot and refine designs through iterative development
  • Generate comprehensive documentation including BOMs, test plans, and design reports
  • Participate in design reviews, FMEAs, and risk assessments
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer
  • Hands-on experience in product development, particularly in an R&D or manufacturing environment
  • Experience in designing automated machinery or electromechanical systems (control systems, sensors, actuators, conveyors) would be useful but not essential
  • A problem-solving mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment
  • Proficiency in CAD software (Fusion 360 preferred)
  • A genuine enthusiasm for engineering innovation and 3D printing technology
