Role overview:

Our client, a major investment bank, is seeking a hands‑on Technical Architect to design AI‑enabled, high‑performance data platforms for trading, risk and regulatory reporting.

What you’ll do:

• Own the architecture of AI/ML data platforms, ensuring scalability, performance, and regulatory compliance
• Lead MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, and other modern data technologies for fast storage, retrieval, and analytics
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise‑grade solutions
• Drive best practices in caching, indexing, query optimisation, and cloud deployment
• Mentor engineers and guide technical decisions

What we’re looking for:

• 15+ years in technology organisations, with 5+ years as a hands‑on Technical Architect
• Deep experience with MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, distributed systems, micro‑services, and AI/ML integration
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Strong data governance, security, and compliance expertise in regulated environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
