About the Role

As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable data solutions. Working across multi-disciplinary teams to build robust pipelines, support AI initiatives, and ensure data governance compliance.

This is a hands‑on leadership role with a strong focus on mentoring, innovation, and stakeholder engagement.

Essential Criteria

• Cloud Data Engineering: Proven experience building pipelines on platforms like Azure or Snowflake. Experience of working with a wide variety of data structures such as data warehouses, data lakes etc. to service business data needs.
• Programming: Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Agile & DevOps: Experience with CI/CD, automation and agile delivery environments.
• Collaboration: Skilled in managing team dynamics and communicating with diverse stakeholders.
• Problem Solving: Deep understanding of data structures, common problems and resolution techniques.
• Innovation: Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and drive change.
• Learning Mindset: Passion for staying current with data engineering trends and applying new knowledge.

Desirable Criteria

• Experience with data visualisation tools and/or implementing machine‑learning models at scale.
