Advance Your Radiography Career at UH Sussex!We’re offering an outstanding opportunity for a passionate, self-driven Senior CT Radiographer (Band 6) to join our innovative imaging teams at Worthing and Southlands Hospitals -- part of the dynamic University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. You'll work with cutting-edge Canon Aquilion CT scanners, delivering a wide range of services from trauma and stroke to cardiac and interventional imaging. Southlands boasts a state-of-the-art Community Diagnostic Centre, opened last year, enhancing care with a new Canon Aquilion ONE Prism CT for GP and outpatient referrals. You'll be joining a friendly, nurturing team committed to professional development. We offer on-the-job training in Cardiac CT, CT Colonography, PGD drug administration, and you'll play a key role in our Radiographer-led CT Colonography service. We're exploring the opportunity to offer a rotation through MRI as part of this post, so MRI experience is desirable but not essential. If you have 2+ years post-grad experience, NHS background, and CT experience, we'd love to hear from you. Cardiac and CTC experience welcome but not essential--we’ll support you to grow. To perform CT Scans in accordance with present protocols.
To be aware of limitations of experience and seek additional advice if required.
To become and remain proficient in the use of all equipment used.
Maintain own professional standards and registrations and maintain personal CPD to ensure professional competence.
To observe and care for patients under investigation, liaising with clerical staff, porters, nurses, and medical staff as appropriate in the best interests of the patient and any escorts.
To receive and document patients as appropriate to maintain full patient registration for updating the departmental record system and comply with protocols for patient record details.
To maintain own safety and that of colleagues, patients, and visitors by adhering to departmental safety policies.
Potential rotation through MRI.
