SENIOR CONTROLS ENGINEER

Job Purpose

To design, test, commission, electrical control systems for Baker Perkins machinery, meeting contractual/customer requirements within time and budget restraints.

Main Duties

• Design our control panels, using our standard or designing from scratch
• Specify and issue electrical hardware parts lists according to contract specifications, specify technical requirements for bought out equipment
• Develop and produce PLC and HMI software (Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi…)
• Produce machine functional specifications and test specifications
• Test equipment in our factory / test centre
• Help the Commissioning Engineers, traveling to customer sites
• Propose permanent technical assistance in pre-sale and post-sale
• Help research and develop new products

Candidate Profile

• Background and/or experience in Industrial Electrical Engineering, at an equipment builder, if possible
• Professional experience (or apprenticeship) in control panel design
• Experience of programming PLC systems and HMI software
• Ability and pleasure to travel around the world for some weeks per year
• Know how to take initiative
• Solution-driven and customer-oriented sensibility
• Team spirit and sense of commitment
