Reports to: Head of Brand & Communications
Type: Full-time
We're Oak Engage, an award-winning tech scale-up on a mission to make communication smarter. Backed by a new multimillion-pound investment from growth investor NorthEdge, we're accelerating product innovation and expansion — the perfect moment for ambitious talent to make a real impact. We're looking for a strategic and hands‑on Senior Content Marketing Manager to take full ownership of Oak's content strategy. You'll be responsible for planning, producing and optimising content across the funnel, from thought leadership and SEO‑driven articles to case studies, sales assets, product messaging and campaign copy. You'll be the go‑to content expert and a key voice in how we attract, engage and convert our audiences. You'll bring fresh ideas, strong editorial instincts and a sharp understanding of how content drives pipeline and brand in a modern B2B SaaS business. If you're excited by the opportunity to take a clear content strategy and bring it to life through high‑quality execution, crafting standout content that engages and converts then this is the role for you.
Ensure all content is optimised for SEO and brand voice and tone is consistent across all channels.
Stage 1: CV and application review
We'll review your CV and any supporting materials to assess alignment with the role and our team needs.
Stage 2: Initial Teams call
A 30‑minute conversation with the Head of Marketing & PR to discuss your background, experience and interest in the role. We'll also share more about Oak and the opportunity ahead.
Stage 3: In‑person interview and presentation
You'll be invited to our HQ in Newcastle to meet key team members. As part of this stage, you'll present a brief content strategy plan to generate Marketing Qualified Leads targeting the Internal Communication, HR and IT sectors. This is your chance to showcase your thinking, creativity and how you'd bring value to our brand. We'd also like you to submit a portfolio of relevant work (links or PDF) ahead of the interview to give us a broader view of your capabilities.
At Oak, we're committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone feels welcome, supported, and able to thrive.
We believe that different perspectives make us stronger, and we actively encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, experiences, and identities — including, but not limited to, race, ethnicity, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, and socio‑economic status.
We are an equal opportunities employer. All hiring decisions are based on business needs, role requirements, and individual qualifications — without bias or discrimination.
If you require any adjustments to the interview process or the role itself to support accessibility, please let us know — we're happy to help.
