Business Analyst – Business & Technical Analysis – Technology Consulting – Belfast

We are looking for a Business Analyst to support clients in achieving their business goals and delivering innovative solutions in a fast‑paced, multi‑vendor consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with clients to understand business goals and priorities, and collaborate with functional teams to formulate solution concepts.
  • Build valuable client relationships and demonstrate exceptional delivery.
  • Support business development by contributing to proposals and client presentations.
  • Create innovative insights that support clients’ change agendas and improve operations.

Qualifications – Must Have
  • At least 2 years of experience in a consulting firm, industry, or government organization within local European & US markets.
  • Experience gathering, defining, and documenting business and solution requirements for the enhancement, replacement, or introduction of IT systems.
  • A strong academic record, including a third‑level degree.
  • Experience in focus industries such as Power & Utilities, Government, Financial Services, Life Sciences, or Telecommunications & Media.
  • Experience operating in a fast‑paced, multi‑vendor client‑facing environment.
  • Experience in business development, including client relationship management and proposal support.
Desired – Ideally You Will Have
  • Experience analyzing systems and procedures, process design, and modelling (As‑is and To‑be assessments for a Target Operating Model).
  • Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies, including creation of User Stories or Use Cases and collaboration with Product Owners.
  • Experience conducting workshops and interviews.
  • Stakeholder management and collaboration with Development and Testing teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.
  • Experience delivering large‑scale business/technology programmes, preferably in ERP or CRM implementations (Oracle, MS Dynamics, SAP).
