We're looking for a dedicated Senior Compliance Manager to lead and support our compliance initiatives at AXA Partners UK. If you're committed to ensuring regulatory excellence and helping a dynamic team navigate complex regulations, this is your opportunity to shine.

About the Role

As a Senior Compliance Manager, you will be a vital part of our Compliance team, providing expert guidance to ensure our business operates within regulatory standards. You'll work closely with senior leaders, engaging with industry regulators, and supporting a culture of ethical and compliant practices across our organization. Your leadership will help us maintain our reputation for trust and excellence in the insurance and financial services sector.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the compliance function, acting as a trusted partner to the business.
  • Support the development and execution of compliance strategies aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Embed and maintain regulatory standards, policies, and procedures across the organization.
  • Provide expert advice on regulatory obligations to various teams, ensuring they understand and meet their responsibilities.
  • Participate in key decision‑making committees, offering challenge and insights on regulatory risks.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with industry regulators, including the FCA and PRA.
  • Represent the organization in industry forums and support strategic lobbying efforts.
  • Monitor industry developments and ensure internal practices evolve accordingly.
  • Support and challenge projects to ensure compliance and regulatory readiness.
  • Maintain high standards in reporting, documentation, and communication with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Promote a culture of ethics, integrity, and customer focus throughout the business.
Qualifications
  • At least 5 years' experience in compliance within financial services or insurance.
  • Strong knowledge of FCA and PRA rules, guidance, and industry practices.
  • Proven ability to lead regulatory discussions and develop innovative solutions.
  • Experience working with regulatory authorities and participating in supervision activities.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with internal teams and external regulators.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships.
  • Demonstrated leadership and strategic thinking in compliance environments.
  • A proactive, solutions‑oriented approach with attention to detail and clarity.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.

Ideally you will be able to commute to our Redhill office three days per week; however, for the right candidate, we may consider applicants based at one of our AXA locations, including London.
