Responsibilities

• Manage all commercial aspects of the project and liaise with stakeholders.
• Assist in building a team and monitor performance.
• Negotiate terms with subcontractors to deliver value.
• Develop and implement commercial strategies for tenders.
• Maximise cash position through WIP control and cash flow.
• Monitor project outturn costs monthly with forecasts.

Skills

Excellent knowledge of Standard Forms of Contract (NEC)

Ability to synthesise information quickly

Understanding of programming techniques and project controls

Education

Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) or equivalent

Registered with RICS / ICES
