Job description
Overview

Senior Clinical Support Workers – Royal Stoke, UHNM. This vacancy is for Senior Clinical Support Worker positions at Royal Stoke Hospital.

The closing date is 30 September 2025. University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust is unable to provide sponsorship for Band 2 and Band 3 roles in line with UKVI guidelines and legislation. If you hold a graduate visa, you may apply, but UHNM will not offer sponsorship at the end of your visa. You must also have at least six months remaining on your visa at the start of employment for training and operational reasons.

If you are passionate about making a difference to the lives of people using our services and their families, this could be the role for you.

Are you kind, compassionate, and looking to develop in your career as a Senior Clinical Support Worker in a hospital setting?

The Trust supports continuous learning and development. We value our Clinical Support Worker workforce and support apprenticeships and other training to progress through the pay scale. Many Clinical Support Workers have trained to Nursing Associate level and some are now training to top up to Registered Nurses.

Main duties of the job

The role of the Senior Clinical Support Worker varies by ward or department but generally involves delivering care and support to patients, learning new skills in assessment and documentation, and working as part of the wider team to provide an excellent patient experience.
