We are seeking an experienced and motivated Advanced Therapy Nurse (Band 7) to join our dynamic team delivering cutting‑edge care to participants receiving Advanced Therapy Investigational Medicinal Products (ATIMPs), including gene and cell therapies across various specialties such as oncology, rheumatology, haemophilia, nephrology and gastroenterology.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of innovation in research healthcare, supporting the delivery of novel, life‑changing treatments within a world‑class research and clinical environment. The post holder will act in a senior specialist role responsible for the safe and effective delivery of advanced therapies in clinical trials involving research participants, leading and coordinating a portfolio of advanced therapy clinical research studies.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate patients participating in advanced therapy studies, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols.
  • Ensure robust set‑up and safe delivery of investigational therapies across inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Collect and maintain accurate data in compliance with regulatory and governance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, research sponsors, and provide expert advice and training.
  • Support service development in line with evolving national and local strategies for AT(i)MP delivery.
Qualifications
  • Experienced registered nurse with a strong background in acute or specialist care.
  • Ideal candidate has experience in research, oncology/haematology, or cell/gene therapy.
  • Confidence to lead complex care delivery and enthusiasm for working within a rapidly evolving field.
  • Strong clinical expertise, critical thinking and leadership in managing complex and novel interventions.
