Job description
A Vacancy at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust.

This is a senior post, covering both elective and emergency work in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (on-calls, theatres and outpatient clinics) for a fixed term 12 month contract.

Qualifications
  • GMC registered and have completed the competencies required for senior registrar level in O&G.
  • Desirable to have completed relevant ATSM; being post CCT looking forward to add to the experience, but the ATSM and CCT are not essential.
  • Showed commitment towards training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology by maintaining a log book, competency record, CTG certificates, attending courses and completing regular audits.
Responsibilities
  • Provide ST6‑7 clinical service in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
  • Take part in a full shift rota (1:10 on‑call) with other specialty doctors.
  • Attending theatres (8 am in the morning, 1pm in the afternoon) for pre‑operative rounds, surgery and post‑operative review.
  • Outpatient clinics – Gynaecology and Antenatal (Subspecialty clinics) at both The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King's Lynn and North Cambridgeshire Hospital, Wisbech.
  • EPU – Supporting EPU services.
  • Supporting the junior doctors (F2 and GP).
  • Ward rounds.
  • Good record keeping, liaison with seniors and communication with multi‑disciplinary team.
