A prominent NHS organization in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Clinical Fellow in Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery. This post will provide training and experience in a wide range of Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery in accordance with the curriculum published by the SAC.
The duties of the post are the normal duties of those of an ST3 equivalent and above in Trauma and Orthopaedics' Surgery and will include attendance at ward rounds and theatre sessions as determined by their Consultant and assistance at Orthopaedic and Fracture Clinics.
The successful candidate will communicate appropriately with the General Practitioners and maintain satisfactory communications with other medical staff, not only in their own but also in other specialties as necessary to benefit the patient in their care. Addition, as necessary they will communicate with other hospitals or agencies for similar reasons.
An important aspect of the Senior Clinical Fellow's work be to supervise the collation of data. The Senior Clinical Fellow will be expected to assist with appropriate planning of work and the establishment of the highest standards of quality.
