Senior Clinical Fellow in Paediatric Cardiology (ST3+)
University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust seeks applicants for a Senior Clinical Fellow in Paediatric Cardiology either for a fellow in training – or for experienced fellows looking for advanced experience in a subject of their choice, based at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children. The post is offered for a period of 6 months from the date of appointment for the candidate.
This post will provide the successful applicant with invaluable experience of a high standard, in a regional Children's Hospital with strong teaching and research links. The post-holder will undertake registrar duties in Paediatric Cardiology at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children and will undertake 1:8 on call commitments.
Applicants must possess an MBBS or equivalent and have completed at least two years of foundation training or equivalent, and three years of paediatric experience. Ideally they should have MRCPCH or equivalent and be able to undertake echocardiography. They must have a licence to practice in the UK, with experience in paediatrics, preferably in the UK and in paediatric cardiology. Non‑UK graduates must provide written confirmation of appropriate knowledge, training, language and experience.
