A prominent NHS Trust in London is seeking a Senior Clinical Fellow in Anaesthetics. This role involves providing perioperative care for patients undergoing a variety of surgeries and supporting training programs. The ideal candidate must have GMC Registration and a passion for enhancing their skills in a dynamic healthcare environment.
We've been assigned by one of the best performing teaching NHS Hospitals in the UK to help them recruit a Senior Clinical Fellow in Anaesthetics on either a Substantive or a 12 month NHS Fixed Term basis.
Our client is one of the UK's largest and busiest teaching Trusts with a turnover of £1 billion, 1.5 million patient contacts a year and more than 15,000 staff based across the area. This hospital has six main theatres and six day case theatres and provides perioperative care for general surgery, urology, gynaecology, ENT, breast, orthopaedics and trauma, ophthalmology and bariatric surgery. In addition, a further two theatres are dedicated to obstetric patients and a new Endoscopy building is currently under construction and will house two theatres for the provision of general Anaesthesia for endoscopy procedures.
Within this role the successful appointee will be joining a team of 29 Consultants, 6 associate specialists 12 CT and SPR anaesthetists on a rotational training programme, where they'll be asked to fulfil various duties such as: providing perioperative care for patients undergoing a wide variety of both elective and emergency surgeries, providing support to the resident on call rotas covering either general emergencies or labour ward and participation in the educational and training programmes within the department and hospital.
