Overview

Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse to join the multi-disciplinary team in Ward 1, within Ninewells Hospital. This Senior Charge Nurse post offers an excellent opportunity to lead and develop the nursing workforce within Ward 1, whilst also contributing to and leading on new service developments which reflect organisational change. You must be able to evidence proven leadership skills and previous success in driving change and improvement.

You must have the ability and commitment to work as part of a team delivering high standards of patient care and continue to improve patient experience. You must demonstrate the ability to provide effective day-to-day leadership and management of the nursing team within the unit, acting as a clinical expert. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be able to demonstrate continued professional development and an interest in cardiology and person-centred care.

You will be expected to work flexibly to meet the needs of this service.

You must be registered on Sub part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register and have previous post-registration experience and previous experience in a leadership role.
