Overview

We are seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our award-winning team. You will work with the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care and foster a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, be aware of changes impacting care and care plans, ensure new needs are met, and amend written records to reflect variations.
• Be involved in the person-centred care planning process by implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
• Support residents with their medication requirements.
• Undertake staff supervisions and support staff development where required.
• Act as a key point of contact for residents, relatives and visitors, and for health and social care professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated.

Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care and maintain a safe, caring and inclusive environment.
