This is a Senior Care Assistant - Nights role at Avery Healthcare's Mousehold View Care Home in Norwich. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the care team in delivering high-quality personal care to residents, while creating a safe, caring, and inclusive environment. The role involves monitoring resident wellbeing, implementing and evaluating care plans, and supervising and supporting care staff.

Main duties of the job

As a Senior Care Assistant - Nights, your focus will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff. Other responsibilities will include monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being involved in the person-centred care planning process, supporting residents with their medication requirements, and undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development.

  • Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
  • Acting as a key point for contact with residents, their relatives and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are acted upon, and concerns or complaints are escalated.
