What does the job role involve?

We understand that care roles are demanding, and we are looking for candidates who are able to support our residents to remain active and independent which includes but is not limited to:

  • Caring and supporting our amazing residents in their journey with Aurem Care.
  • Providing personal care, social support and making impactful and heartwarming memories.
  • Ensuring the needs of our residents are met through the use of our electronic care platform “Nourish”
  • Work within a committed team member
  • Showing positive caring values in all aspects of practice
  • To supervise, guide and support a group of care assistants.
  • To assist in the planning and monitoring of resident care.
  • Assist with care assistant induction programme and Core Training Programme
  • Any ad hoc duties to meet service delivery for our residents.
What makes a successful candidate:
  • Must have previous senior care experience
  • Previous 6 - 12 months of experience
  • NVQ level 2 or 3 in Health and Social care obtained or similar
  • Enthusiastic about providing care
  • Great values and compassion for supporting people
  • You will be able to work well as part of a team and independently showing creativity and passion for the work you do
  • Great communication skills
  • Be able to follow and prioritise tasks and responsibilities
  • Engage well with people we support in their continuing interests and supporting positive experiences

  • Bank contract, work as and when required
  • Day or Night shifts available
  • Working hours: Days 8am - 8pm / Nights 8pm– 8am shifts
  • Hourly rate: £12.81 per hour
  • 28 days annual leave including bank holidays (pro rata for part time)
