Job description

Job responsibilities

Plan and implement the kind of care that gives residents security, dignity and independence. Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain the highest standards of care, acting as a positive influence on the team. Provide care in line with residents’ needs, including helping with walking frames, life-end-of-life support, and communicating with residents’ families. Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager by delivering physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, and administering medication. Maintain accurate records and build strong relationships with the team. Contribute to personalised care plans and ensure documentation reflects care delivered. Ideally, have completed a Level 2 Diploma/SNVQ in Adult Care and work towards Level 3 or equivalent, with a background in person-centred care planning and dementia care knowledge. Demonstrate positive energy, effective time management, and compassionate communication at all times.

You will also engage in safeguarding practices and ensure relevant training is completed.
