This is a role for a Senior Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the care team in delivering high-quality personal care to residents, ensuring a safe, caring, and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support and work alongside the care team to deliver high standards of personal care, ensuring a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
  • Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, be aware of changes impacting care and care plans, ensure new needs are met, and amend records to reflect variations.
  • Involve in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
  • Support residents with their medication requirements.
  • Undertake staff supervisions and support staff with their development where required.
  • Act as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives and visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated.
About You

  • Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
  • Have 2 years of experience working in a similar care environment.
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Have a positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
  • Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
Requirements
  • A DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
