You will be involved in Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes, delivering personalised care and supporting residents and their families.

You will work with the Registered Nurse and Care Manager to provide physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, and you may administer medication. You will also maintain accurate records of your work and build strong relationships with your team.

Ideally, you’ll have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care (or NVQ) and be prepared to work towards Level 3, with a background in person-centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia. What’s essential is your positive energy and ability to get along with people. You’ll know what good record keeping looks like and be able to manage your time effectively, communicating with residents and co-workers with consideration and kindness.
