About The Role

As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. You will contribute to dementia, nursing, residential and specialist care across our homes, delivering personalised care with dignity, security and independence for residents. You will know residents and their families to ensure care plans are truly individual.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement care that provides security, dignity and independence for residents.
  • Get to know residents and their families to deliver truly personalised care plans.
  • Lead a team of Care Assistants and uphold the highest standards of care; influence the rest of the team.
  • Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager; provide physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities; and administer medication as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of your duties and build strong relationships with the team.
Qualifications
  • Ideally, Level 2 Diploma/SNVQ in Adult Care and willingness to work towards Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Background in person-centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
  • Strong record-keeping, time-management and communication with residents and colleagues, with a kind, considerate approach.
