Qualifications

  • Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Social Care (or equivalent) and a background in person-centred care planning.
  • Knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
  • Positive energy, natural kindness and excellent record keeping.
  • Effective time management and ability to communicate kindly with residents and co‑workers.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Lead, support and develop a team of Care Assistants, maintaining the highest standards of care.
  • Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, and administering medication.
  • Maintain accurate records of care activities and build strong relationships with the team.
  • Plan and implement personalised care plans in collaboration with residents and families.
  • Provide physical and emotional support to residents, including helping with walking frames, eating meals at the end of life and communicating with families.

  • Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Social Care (or equivalent) and a background in person-centred care planning.
