About The Role

Please note that this is a full-time role working 33 hours per week, nights only from 8pm - 8am.
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your responsibilities include planning and implementing care that provides residents with security, dignity, and independence. You will build relationships with residents and their families to deliver personalized care plans.
Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and influence your team positively. Your duties may include assisting residents with mobility, end-of-life care, and communicating with families, all with kindness.
You will assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing social and recreational activities, administering medication, and maintaining accurate records. Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care and be prepared to work towards Level 3 or equivalent, with experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care knowledge. Your positive energy, ability to manage time effectively, and considerate communication are essential.
