Care and Support - Casa Di Lusso Care Home
Contract: Full Time and Part-Time Salary: £12.75 - £13.00 Per Hour Shift Type: Days & Nights Available Contracted hours: 24 to 48

Casa di Lusso Care Home is a modern, purpose-built facility in Bridgwater, specialising in expert Dementia care for up to 88 residents. Equipped with the latest care technology, our home provides comfort and peace of mind in a warm and welcoming environment.

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in leading our care team to deliver the highest standards of care. Your leadership and example will help foster a supportive, efficient, and positive atmosphere, ensuring that every resident receives compassionate, personalised care.

What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly rate between £12.75 and £13.00, depending on experience
  • 46 hours per week contract

What You’ll Do

You will coordinate shifts and lead the team throughout each working day, ensuring all staff contribute effectively to the smooth running of the home. Assisting residents with their personal care needs such as dressing, bathing, toileting, and mobility will be a key part of your role, always promoting dignity and independence.

You will oversee medication management, including ordering, administering, and maintaining accurate records. Communication is vital in this role, so you will engage with residents, their families, healthcare professionals, and your team with clarity and empathy.

Teamwork and collaboration are essential, and you will promote a respectful and supportive environment, valuing the diversity of all staff members. You will also welcome visitors and guide prospective residents and families around the home.

Responding swiftly to emergencies, managing documentation like care plans and risk assessments, and participating in ongoing professional development will all be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with health and safety policies, escalating concerns when necessary.
