Job description

Overview

We are looking for talented senior care assitants to expand our senior team. You will lead our established team of carers to provide individual care for our residents in our private residential home. We have a choice of days & nights available. If choosen to work day shifts you must be flexible to work a night shift when required. Your shifts will be over a 7 day period.

Responsibilities

• administration of medication
• liaising with health professionals
• leading a team
• recording accurate information on electronic care and medication systems
• reporting directly to the home manager

Qualifications

• have a NVQ level 3 or be working towards it.
• Have 2 years experience in leading a team in a care home setting.
• Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Have a positive attitude.
• Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
• Have a good knowledge and confidence of medication administration.
• Have good organisational skills.
