The Healthcare Analytics department within Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a Senior Cancer Analyst to join its Analysis & Reporting team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who has established analyst experience, including cancer reporting knowledge, to join us. The Healthcare Analytics department is pivotal to ensuring the data and analytics needs of the organisation are met and in supporting the organisation to make data driven, evidence based, decisions. This is particularly important for the cancer agenda, supporting pathway improvements and reporting.
The Senior Cancer Analyst is responsible for leading on allocated cancer programmes of work and ensuring the delivery of high quality support across the Cancer directorate. The wider team is responsible for the submission of statutory returns, production of regular reporting, development of new reports in Power BI and completion of ad hoc data requests for the Trust. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of core cancer related functions within the team ensuring that information provided is accurate, complete, timely and adds value.
