Senior Business Development Manager

Software Sales - Logistics

Up to £90,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus

Remote with UK Travel

Are you an experienced Business Development Manager with experience in selling Logistics Software Sales? Our client is a global Logistics and Supply Chain Software Solution provider.

This role will involve development and conversion of pipeline and accountability for individual sales reporting. The Senior Business Development Manager will also be pivotal in supporting sales initiatives and collaborating across the business to convert significant opportunities with corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Develop a new business sales pipeline, aligned with sales KPIs for growth, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting of sales activities.
  • Strategic projects/bids: Coordinate strategic bid responses.
  • Key/global accounts: Collaborate to maximize upsell and cross-sell opportunities with key clients. Take sales leadership responsibilities as appropriate for customers with significant potential.
  • Culture Building: Promote a motivated sales culture focused on success, inclusivity, and professional growth.

Client relationship management

  • Client-centricity: Build strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and presenting tailored solutions.
  • Source and Selection: Generate sales-qualified leads from own activity and network, meeting KPIs.

Business Partnership

  • Communication: Work closely with Sales Director, Marketing Directors, and Sales Analysts to align strategies and operations.
  • Deal focus: Identify and support new revenue-generating sales opportunities.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Manage your sales pipeline with accurate reporting and forecasting.
  • Lead generation: Collaborate with Marketing to drive lead generation.
  • Data-driven: Develop KPIs and use data insights for strategy and improvement.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Business Development Manager.
  • Experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Software Sales.
