The Data team is at the part of OSB Group's transformation journey, enabling our business to make smarter, faster, and more data-driven decisions. We're a collaborative and forward-thinking team focused on developing data products and services that enhance our customer experiences, strengthen operational performance, and support our digital ambitions. The role can be based from our Wolverhampton or Chatham office and will require occasional travel between all OSB Group locations. You'll collaborate with business stakeholders, engineers, and product teams to design data solutions that are desirable, viable, feasible and sustainable, supporting OSB Group's ambition to become a truly data-centric organisation.

Responsibilities
  • Acting as the key intermediary between business stakeholders, Product Owners, and development teams to ensure alignment with the data product roadmap and vision.
  • Ensuring a Definition of Ready (DoR) for all functional and technical user stories, refining and breaking down into clear, testable tasks with well-defined acceptance criteria.
  • Facilitating workshops to capture and analyse business and data requirements, documenting outcomes and potential solutions.
  • Developing data models, data flows, and other artefacts to visualise data relationships, processes, and transformations.
  • Conducting business impact assessments, feasibility studies, and process mapping to identify the best solution options.
  • Working collaboratively with Data Engineers and Architects to define data lineage, dictionaries, and information quality requirements.
Qualifications
  • A strong track record as a Senior Business Analyst or Product Owner within an agile environment, ideally focused on data‑centric projects or programmes in a Financial Services organisation.
  • Proven experience working on data migration and transformation initiatives with a strong understanding of fintech operational systems, data repositories, data services, data management, and cloud storage.
  • Proficiency in data analysis techniques, including handling large datasets, interpreting insights, and identifying trends.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with experience defining and documenting as‑is and to‑be processes.
  • Experience writing functional and technical user stories and defining acceptance criteria aligned with business goals.
Benefits
  • Base salary between £65,000 - £75,000 dependant upon experience.
  • Enhanced family‑focused benefits.
  • Annual bonus opportunity up to 15%.
  • 28 days annual leave + bank holidays.
