Job summary

A well-established consultancy in Bicester is seeking an experienced Building Surveyor for a full-time, hybrid role. Qualifications

  • Proven experience in building surveying, preferably with relevant post-graduate experience.
  • Experience in fire risk assessment is a bonus.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing contractor relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Managing projects to budget and programme.
  • Preparing designs, costings, and specifications.
  • Organising tender documents and advising on contractor appointments.
  • Assessing building condition and recommending repair or maintenance solutions.
  • Advising on legislation, building regulations, and health and safety.
  • Overseeing maintenance and carrying out feasibility studies.
