A multidisciplinary design consultancy is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor for projects in Kent and London. Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join a successful multi-disciplinary professional design consultancy. The role involves working on public sector housing projects from inception to completion.

The ideal candidate will have good traditional building surveying skills and experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to interface with clients, contractors, and other professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Structural Surveys and Acquisition Inspections of buildings
  • Building Defects Analysis
  • Writing specifications, contract administration, and running public sector housing projects
  • Preparing and submitting applications for statutory consent and liaising with relevant authorities

Requirements:

  • Chartered Building Surveyor or Member of Institute of Building
  • Proven track record of performing in a building surveying role, particularly related to Public-Sector Housing
  • Full technical ability and up-to-date contract knowledge
  • Self-motivated, confident, with good presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and lead on specific projects as appropriate
  • Strong experience in Public Sector Housing
