About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Bridal Assistant to join a passionate, customer-focused retail team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key part in leading a growing bridal department, where you'll be responsible for providing an unforgettable experience for every bride and maximizing the performance of the bridal suite. As a Senior Bridal Assistant, you'll take on a leadership role, connecting the wider store team to the bridal department, offering support, training, and sharing your expertise to maintain consistently high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Take on Key Holder duties, including opening and closing the store and ensuring building security.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to exceed expectations and drive sales.
- Be an expert across Bridal and Occasion ranges, confidently offering advice and styling suggestions while cross‑selling other products in‑store.
- Manage all bridal appointments using the booking system, ensuring seamless follow‑ups with customers.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the bridal stock package, working closely with head office teams to provide product feedback and identify opportunities.
- Oversee the care and maintenance of bridal stock, including managing dry cleaning and conducting regular inventory checks alongside the stock team.
- Stay informed about all in‑store services and identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience through additional services.
- Process customer transactions efficiently, ensuring a smooth, enjoyable shopping experience.
- Handle customer queries and resolve any complaints professionally, turning challenges into opportunities for loyalty‑building.
- Keep up to date with fashion and bridal trends through social media and relevant platforms, sharing insights to enhance the customer experience.
- Build strong, long‑term client relationships, maintaining a loyal customer base.
- Be fully aware of store and individual sales targets, and understand how current performance compares to plans and previous results.
- Play an active role in coaching and developing the team on product knowledge, customer service, and selling techniques.
- Foster a collaborative, positive working environment and lead by example.
- Support the development of new starters, providing guidance as they settle into their roles.
- Maintain high merchandising standards to ensure displays are always visually appealing and well‑organized.
