A leading healthcare trust in Coventry is seeking a Senior Dissection BMS to supervise dissection tasks and ensure quality assurance in laboratory services. Candidates must hold HCPC registration and relevant experience, with the Senior role requiring an IBMS DEP in dissection. The position offers opportunities for professional development within a recognized teaching trust.
CWPS is looking for a specialist dissector to join our busy and experienced dissection team. The successful candidate will be working closely with the management team to deliver a safe, efficient and quality driven service to our patients. They will also be given opportunities to further develop the service, lead on improvement projects and work with the team to oversee successful installation of new equipment across the department. The post holder will be expected to work at UHCW and South Warwick Hospital sites.
The successful candidate for the position of Senior Dissection BMS will hold HCPC registration with experience at a band 6 (at least) and in dissection and will hold the IBMS DEP for dissection will be paid at a AFC band 7. The successful candidate for the Trainee Dissection BMS position will have HCPC registration with experience at a band 6 and in dissection but not yet hold the IBMS DEP in dissection is paid at AFC band 6. Interviews for this post will take place week commencing 03/11/2025. Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.
The post requires HCPC registration with appropriate banded experience. The Senior Dissection BMS position requires IBMS DEP in dissection (or working towards) and AFC band 7; the Trainee Dissection BMS position requires band 6 experience and HCPC registration, but not yet IBMS DEP in dissection (AFC band 6).
