Senior BIM Technologist

Youll suit this role if youre an experienced Architectural Technologist / BIM Technician or BIM Coordinator who lives in Revit, enjoys digging into RIBA Stages 46, and takes pride in delivering models and drawings that stand up on site.

Full-time, semi-flexible (typically Monday-Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm)

Duties

• Produce and maintain detailed, fully coordinated 3D BIM models (LOD 45) for complex building projects
• Generate construction-ready 2D drawings from models for manufacture and on-site use
• Lead and support multiple live projects, delivering on time, to scope and to high quality standards
• Work closely with contractors, subcontractors, trades and consultants to resolve design / coordination issues
• Operate within a Common Data Environment, managing information, data sets and workflows
• Carry out model / drawing audits, drive continuous improvement and occasionally support strategic BIM initiatives

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in a relevant role (Architectural Technologist / BIM Technician / BIM Coordinator) on large, complex buildings (RIBA Stages 46)
• Expert user of Autodesk Revit
• Proficient with Navisworks Manage and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
• Strong technical design, detailing and construction documentation skills
• Confident working remotely while managing multiple projects and priorities
• Clear communicator, collaborative team player and comfortable stepping up to lead when needed
