Overview

We are looking for a talented, diligent, and client-focused Business Intelligence professional. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualisation. They should excel in deploying and administering BI tools, interpreting data to provide actionable insights, and effectively communicating with business users at all levels.

Key Skills Mandatory

• Advanced Data Visualisation and design with Power BI and Tableau
• Data modeling DTs, nested queries, advanced modeling techniques with SQL
• Advanced SQL across different dialects
• Consultative expert on reporting design principles, keeping in line with best practices
• Solid understanding and knowledge of multi-industry terminologies and logic (CTR, CR, YoY, COS, etc.)
• Deep understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, relational data models, and structuring data
• Deep and broad understanding of modeling data across huge scale data sets (petabytes) to guarantee performance and reporting SLAs
• Ability to present findings in a structured, clear manner with actionable insights
• Training comfortable performing and leading classroom-based training, knowledge share sessions, and codev sessions with business and technical stakeholders
• An understanding of the end-to-end data landscape and the ability to communicate detailed technical requirements with technical teams, as well as the ability to translate this to non-technical stakeholders
• GIT and GIT integration
• Advanced testing and UAT of workloads and outcomes, demonstrable with their own methodology
• Security, GDPR, and PII data handling principles

Additional Skills

• Asana / JIRA
• Experience working in a consultancy
• Strong AWS / Redshift / Snowflake / GCP experience advantageous
• Multiple BI tool experience, ideally has Looker experience
• Knowledge of Fivetran and ETL / ELT tools
