A leading NHS foundation trust in Great Yarmouth seeks an Audiologist to deliver comprehensive assessments and rehabilitation services. The opportunity includes flexible working arrangements in a supportive environment focused on patient care and quality improvement. Ideally, candidates should have a BSc in Audiology or an equivalent qualification and relevant NHS experience. You will also engage in the UK's accreditation processes and play a role in enhancing service quality in this dynamic community setting.
You will join us at an exciting time as we extend our Audiology service into the newly built, on-site, Community Diagnostic Centre where we will provide adult, paediatric and tinnitus assessment pathways. We are also involved with the planning of our new hospital due to open in 2031/32. Although based in the Audiology department, you will also work in the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) undertaking the diagnostic assessment of patients referred on Paediatric, Adult and Tinnitus pathways. The post also includes undertaking audio/vestibular rehabilitation on all patient groups at the main Audiology site.
You will be actively engaged in the UKAS IQIPS accreditation process for the CDC and main Audiology department. You will also take part in the quality assurance, audit and peer review.
The post is full time, but there is the opportunity to work flexible hours within a 4/5 day week or 9 day fortnight.
