Job Duties
  • Model D & F accounts for the Allied World London Branch and Lloyd’s syndicate.
  • Assess data quality, interpret modelling results and provide guidance to Underwriters as required.
  • Monitor and report on accumulations; assist in corporate and syndicate reporting.
  • Assist in projects to improve the catastrophe modelling workflow, automate processes and increase operational efficiencies.
  • Conduct model evaluations and sensitivity testing for specific regions / perils.
  • Help manage the vendor relationship for outsourced data cleansing services.
Qualifications
  • Strong technical training in mathematics, computer science, engineering, physical science or related field.
  • Five to ten years’ catastrophe modelling experience, with a focus on D&F modelling preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of AIR Touchstone.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Excel; experience SQL or other programming languages preferred.
  • Detail-orientated with advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
