Industry leading Travel Magazine Publisher seeks a highly talented and experienced Advertising Sales Manager/ Commercial Partnerships Manager.
The successful Senior Advertising Sales Manager will need a minimum of 3 years working in a similar role, crucially from consumer travel publishing across print and digital media.
There will be scope for international travel several times a year to trade shows.
The Role:
Generating new business across print and digital media platforms
Grow relationships with key accounts by planning and tailoring their marketing activities using a consultative approach with the intention of growing YOY spend
Pitch clients over the phone and through face-to-face meetings
Act as a market specialist and make sure you have the knowledge to do so via internal and external resources
Consultative selling is a key part of this role, the right candidate should be able to sell creatively, through solution led selling
Happy to travel to London and internationally to various travel trade shows
Profile of Candidate:
Minimum 3 years working in a similar advertising sales or commercial partnerships role ideally in the consumer travel publishing sector across print and digital media
Already has an extensive client list of travel brands, tour operators and DMOs
Target orientated and able to work under pressure to deliver results
Able to work independently under their own initiative to drive commercial revenue for the business
Creative thinker who can create bespoke creative partnerships based on the needs of the client
Confident in pitching business opportunities to senior level clients
Comfortable in working with all departments including the editorial team to deliver targeted advertising for each issue
