UKFin+ is an EPSRC funded £2.5M programme of funding, tackling financial services challenges. The project aims to grow a network across the UK to increase collaboration across regions, between academics and industry. Financial services have been subject to unprecedented technological changes over recent years. This increasing reliance on technology though beneficial also comes with complex associated risks, leading to financial services having a wicked problem. UKFin+ works with industry, regulators and non‑profits to define challenges, to connect them to academics and researchers, and to co‑define projects that address these. Central to UKFin+ are its funding streams, which provide the funding for five types of collaborative projects between academia and partners.
The Senior Administrator will play a key role in organising events for the project as well as assisting in managing the funding process for the network plus.
The candidate will be required to work three weekday days per week, one of which must be a Friday.
As a Senior Administrator within UKFin+ you will provide support for a broad range of administrative duties, some of which may be complex. You may also be responsible for managing other staff or for supporting colleagues and sharing knowledge. You will be able to use your wide range of skills, both technical and administrative, and have the opportunity to lead on specific tasks within a team.
